A Visit to Vtox Vsuite

Ladies, have you experienced a V steam? Well I did, and I did it a Vtox Intimate Health and Wellness Solutions.http://www.vtoxyourbox.com What is a v steam you ask? Welp. According to wikipedia, V steaming short for vaginal steaming or yoni steaming, is an alternative health treatment whereby a woman squats or sits over steaming water containing herbs such as, mugwort, rosemary, wormwood and basil. For centuries it has been practiced all over the world for treatment of reproductive issues. Some of the issues v steaming claims to address are:

  • Stress relief
  • Helps in shrinking of fibroid tumors
  • Regulation of menstrual cycle
  • Helps reduce the intensity of menstrual cramps and bloating
  • Assists in healing after childbirth

Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted and ushered into the the Vsuite by Nakea the owner and operator of Vtox. After entering I was able to relax and explore the retail options available while Nakea customized my blend of herbs. This was my 2nd visit so my intake form was already done and nothing changed from my last visit so my herbal blend remained the same. My blend contained herbs such as rose petals, lavender, red raspberry leaf, marshmallow root its an ideal blend to help with PMS, menstrual cramps etc.

So the actual experiences consisted of my throne being prepared and made comfortable with towels on the seat. Essential oils wafting in the air from the fragrance diffuser. A mixture of nineties R&B and slow jams playing in the background. It was a vibe. I donned a voluminous skirt to trap the steam. I sipped peach herbal tea. I was able to relax and reflect on life and enjoy the tranquility of the moment. It was blissful. The steam wasn’t uncomfortable at all. It was quite soothing. I wish bookend a 45 minute session instead of 30 minutes. Once I was done I purchased a couple bars of the pHresh Intimate cleansing bars (I love this super gentle cleanser) and I was on my way. I owe it to myself to practice this type of self care on a daily basis and you should too.
